There is a full calendar of events throughout the year, every month there is a formal meeting followed by a guest speaker or some special attraction

Radio Amateur Licence

Next Courses:

Foundation - October 22/23 2011 - Cost £50. Please complete the application form and send, with a cheque for £50 (which includes the room hire and examination fee) payable to The Torbay Amateur Radio Society.

Intermediate - A course is being held over two consecutive weekends 21/22 & 28/29 April 2012. Cost £80. Please complete the application form and send, with a cheque for £80 (which includes the room hire and examination fee) payable to The Torbay Amateur Radio Society before April 7th 2012

Advanced - Although at present we are not offering courses, we are a registered centre for the Advanced examination. An examination is to be held on March 3rd 2012 at 18.30. If you would like to take advantage of this, please complete the application form and send, with a cheque for £50 (which includes the room hire and examination fee) payable to The Torbay Amateur Radio Society before February11th 2012

Application forms and full payment must be received at least 4 weeks prior to the start of courses. Please make cheques payable to Torbay Amateur Radio Society

Torbay Amateur Radio Society can provide all the necessary training for you to study and pass the examinations for the Foundation Licence and then follow on with the Intermediate Licence
